Thanks for the comment. The trail judge was a guy, so I think we are talking about different 4H competitions.

Hi,
I read what you said about being disqualified in trail. I knew one of the judges and she said she had to disqualify a lot of people because they did not complete the pattern in the correct direction that was written on the pattern sheet. Some got disqualified because they used the wrong hand on the gate. Actually, it is in the AQHA rulebook that if the pattern is not completed as written (including wrong direction) then to be automatically DQ'ed. Keep in mind that my comment was not to be rude.

I am very glad that skip is better. I wish I could say the same thing about our barn.

The owners are not on site any longer and they feeders don't speak much English. So they don't call if an animal is down or shows signs of not being right.

I have seen days with out water when I was hanging around before I married my barn girl.

Great to here skip is fine.

And, what's wrong with having a toy horse that looks just like the real one. We have a Breyer for every horse we have ever owned... it's fun to find the one that looks "just Like" them.

She did fine. Be pleased that she and Skip look happy and safe. The other riders were probably just a bit better. Pinning a class of only four is tough - especially if all four are decent riders!
